IDF Beijing chop suey
Thu Jan 29 2009, 09:21

GONE IS INTEL's facade of keeping up appearances in this winter of economic discontent, as the firm announced it would be ‘reformatting' it's Spring Developer's Forum, IDF Beijing 2009, into a one-day, local Chinese event.

An announcement on the company's website noted, "Given the current economic circumstances and business pressures the industry is facing globally, IDF Beijing 2009 is being reformatted to a one-day event".

It continued "IDF Beijing will feature keynotes, technical sessions and technology showcase all tailored for the Chinese market".

Oh well... that's the way Intel spring rolls, apparently. µ
