Ipod goes all romantic

Nibble Valentine's day massacre
Monday, 26 January 2009, 13:30

TOYMAKER Apple is hoping to make a quick buck off fanboys who want to impress their girlfriend with an Ipod with a Valentine's Day inscription.

If you buy an Ipod from the Apple Store Online you can get a free engraving up to two lines of text, which is ideal for your romantic poem or blank verse.

While the idea of sending the love of your life an Ipod for Valentine's day might have looked good during the Apple planning meeting, it seems that they forgot that their target market of Apple fanboys have huge problems finding someone who can put up with that level of smugness.

It is unlikely they can find anyone who would be happy to be stalked by an Apple fanboy either. Besides Ipods are sooooo last year and are the most-returned present on eBay after Christmas. µ

Apple has been offering free engravings for a long time.

Romanticapple

Let me say that it's very nice that you noticed apples engraving option after being online for at least a year prior to this article.

I for one opted for an iPod valentine gift, and I can say that it pushed all the right buttons. Maybe she's a nerd, or maybe she just likes the way I flick her iPod's cherry switch - boom boom.

Why?

Why is this garbage still posted?
You are like a Taliban.
Spouting non-sense which you claim is law.
Nick Farrrelll.
Its not that I particularly LOVE Apple.
Its that you particularly write drivel, which forces me to waste my time writing responses which of course plays to your writing drivel for clicks.
