GOOGLE HAS BEEN bumped off the number one spot of Fortune magazine's top 100 companies to work for, unceremoniously replaced by storage maker, NetApp.
NetApp, which has a global headcount of 8,000, was chosen for its "employees' enthusiasm". Of course, its not difficult to make employees enthusiastic with the firm offering workers benefits from almost $11,400 in adoption aid to five paid days to do volunteer work a year.
It also helps that NetApp is hiring rather than firing staff. Yes, even during the financial crisis, it is looking to fill 55 positions.
Google, which was last year's number one, has now dropped to a disappointing fourth place after scrapping the firm's annual ski trip, and more importantly, afternoon tea. µ
Don't you mean "The full FORTUNE 100 List" under L'Inq?? Sylvieee... ;o)
