Spore evolves and diversifies

Nibble New versions spawned
Friday, 23 January 2009, 12:11

EVOLVE 'EM UP GAME SPORE is set to mutate by offering new versions tailored for children, space hunters, and fans of Nintendo Wii consoles.

Despite the fact that Spore was heavily pirated to avoid Electronic Arts bizarre DRM system, the game has attracted huge numbers of paying followers.

Mid-year Maxis will release Spore Galactic Adventures which will take the game into inter-stellar exploration.

There will be a Spore Creature Keeper spin-off computer game which is aimed at children and centres on looking after creatures, and console releases for the Wii and hand-held DS. µ

Wouldn't it be inter-galactic?

EA can kiss my arse

I don't buy any EA games because of their draconian DRM. They have went too far and can kiss my arse. They need to look at how Bethesda does DRM, functional but not over the top. Speaking of Bethesda, Fallout 3 just plan rocks on the PC, great game.

Huge amount of paying customers ?

Well damn, there goes another chance to make EA understand that we don't want their DRM infestation.
Too bad, people. As long as you continue buying into such crap, they'll keep making it.
