Italians teach iPhone users how to read the BBC news

Nibble Genoa the way to go
Tue Jan 20 2009, 12:48

THE iTalian press is pointing out that the latest iPhone application which allows punters to read BBC news was penned by a developer from Genoa.

Within a few days, since it appeared on the official site of Apple, the iTalian code, called BBC News Channel, has been downloaded several hundred thousand times.

The developer, Mauritius Zilli, thinks that having written the code he will be famous and he will get a small amount of cash for every download that is made. Alas most Apple fanboys will believe that the code was written by Steve Jobs in his spare time, and most British people will think must have been coded by the Beeb. µ
