MEDIA mongol Rupert Murdoch claims that his Myspace social notworking site is booming as punters use it to find jobs in the current economic climate.

In a press release he claimed his site has seen a significant use for job search in the past year.

The number of users between 21 and 34 yearswho visited the site had increased share exceeding 160,000 in November 2008 by about 83,500 over the same period a year ago.

Rupert thinks that people are signing up to see if they can tap contacts for new jobs. µ

More time on Myspace = more likely to be sacked.

If you spend time looking at myegospace then you are more likely to be sacked in the first place. Hence you are more likely to be looking for a job.

MyProfile - currently spending too much time doing sweet fa, got sacked after spending too much time wasting time, now looking for a "job" when I can spend most of my day dowing sweet fa on my_show_off_space.
