UFO man arrested over Obama threats

Told the universe plus dog first
Monday, 19 January 2009, 11:09

A BLOKE who made a comment that he was going to kill Barack Obama on a website about aliens, ufos and government cover-ups has been arrested.

Steven Joseph Christopher, in three messages on the site www.alien-earth.org, wrote that it intended to kill Obama in Washington "as a sacrificial lamb." Apparently he got a visit from the Men in Black who have banged him up for a while.

Christopher said that he didn't have enough cash to go to Washington and was short of a weapon and so he was appealing to his fellow conspiracy theorists for help. µ

"appealing to his fellow conspiracy theorists for help"

Well then he's in for a long spell behind bars, because any conspiracy theorist worth his salt is going to be convinced that this is just a governmental operation to get the names of said fellow conspiracy theorists in order to lock them up too.

the guy is so lame, he's never fired a gun, needs help with the bus fair. I hope his mom locks him out of the basement while he's in jail. I'll bet his mullet is in pony tails by weeks end.

No surprise here

I thought Gary McKinnon was still in custody? Who knew?

No surprise that people are making threats on the Presidents life when Obama is doing his very best to alienate Americans through fiscal irresponsibility and constant playing of the "race card". It's embarrassing and very unbecoming of a new President.

@ Jack

Republican Ronald Reagan doubled our national debt. George W. Bush doubled it again, leaving us in a potentially disastrous mess. (Democrat Bill Clinton, on the other hand, had a budget surplus.) Most liberal and conservative economists agree that massive government spending is now necessary to avoid a repeat of the great depression. Perhaps you would prefer GD2?

I have watched a lot of cable new programs over the last two years, and I do not believe that Obama has played the "race card". This is mostly done by people like you.

The U.S. media is having a field day

The U.S. media is having a field day with the Coronation of Obama. Everybody is getting in on the act. He's made all kinds of insincere symbolic gestures to manipulate public opinion. It's pretty funny to see how gullible Americans really are.

I'll bet in a year or two when many Americans are standing in bread and soup lines, Obama will need to be concerned about more than UFO man threatening his life.

@Alan

Clintonites betray computer enthusiasts by giving him good credit for the economy we created. The 1990's economy road the tech bubble almost perfectly, and had several singificant "mini-crashes" before he even left office.

My memory of the events is amost perfect because I got my degree around that time. In 2000 I couldn't even find an internship and had no prospects for work when I graduated.

re :jack , carter's mess

not withstanding g.w's ineptness , especially with finances ,carter sucked so bad at foreign policy, he couldn't have done more harm if was an enemy agent.
his showing favour to the ayatollah and cutting the shah over a few muslim
agitator/protesters getting their asses deservedly kicked was just as bad as jimmy telling soviets that the u.s. would do little if they invaded afghanistan .we still see the effects.
you think it was reagan that started the taliban? guess again . it was jimmy's policy advisor brezinski .the rational was to unilaterally disarm in the face of a massive soviet buildup , and get islamist extremism to counter it
-That's why reagan had to put more cash
back into the military -however muslims don't like the way russians retaliate ,so they scapegoat america as an easier target , even though any objective student of recent history knows that postww1 france and england had far more to do with iran's frustration (and that of palestine)than johnny-come-lately yanks.heck the soviets murdered 25 % of their muslim republic citizens AFTER ww2

Think about it

People make threats all the time. This just goes to show you how much attention they give to these UFO websites.
