Aussies phone from the dunnie

Nibble More than half use mobiles on the throne
Monday, 19 January 2009, 11:32

SOFTWARE GIANT, Microsoft commissioned expensive research that has uncovered the fact that more than half of Aussies use their phone while communing on the bog or pointing Percy at porcelain.

Synovate, acting on behalf of Vole, interviewed nearly 2,500 respondents across Australia, Japan, China, India and Taiwan including 500 from Godzone.

It showed that nearly half of Australians use their mobile phone while in the dunnie. This is not as bad as Taiwan where 68 per cent make bog standard calls and China at 66 per cent.

While the information might not make you want to by a Microsoft Mobile operating system, it might make you think twice before you ask to borrow an Aussie's phone. µ
