JEFFREY STEPHENSON IS at it again, his new work is called the Ingram. As usual, it looks really good, living up to his new self inflicted job description of 'Custom Computer Cabinetry'.
You might remember Jeffrey from his past pieces like the Humidor, Machine Age, and Skyscraper. This new one is called Ingram, and it is made to look like an old school radio, but that should be quite obvious to most people able to walk and chew gum at the same time.
The Ingram PC/Case mod
Unlike most of his last few pieces, this one is an actual case mod, not a ground up work. It started out as a Silverstone LC06, see the resemblance? Neither do we. He then added a Via Nano 1.6 Micro-ITX mobo/CPU, 4G of Crucial memory, and a Crucial 64G SSD. This should not only be low power, but a reasonably competent machine.
The skinning is all wood with custom decals for the wording. As usual, the workmanship is impeccable, and even the 'crappy old Dell speakers' look very nice. All in all, another nice job that looks better in person than in pictures. If you want to see more of his toys, or give him lots of money to make you one, you can find Jeffrey here. µ
The Ingraham (NOT Ingram) uses a 1.6GHz VIA Nano on a VIA VB8001 board, which incidentally, is a Mini-ITX board not a Micro-ITX board.
