TomTom Go 740 connects to the web

THE LATEST TomTom Go 740 Live is shipping with a Sim card which can connect you to Google.

The beast uses a phone connection to access updated information about the place you are driving to.

In the USA will cost $499, coming in the spring and those buying it will get a year's subscription to TomTom Live services, including Google Local Search.

This will give fuel price, weather information and TomTom's QuickGPSfix for faster satellite acquisition. µ
