A GERMAN URBAN ARTIST has taken an interesting shot at the advertising industry and its unrealistic portrayal of women as perfect, flawless beings.

Posters featuring Britney Spears, Leona Lewis and Christina Aguillera were plastered with a whole host Photoshop menu boxes and history pallettes the like of which would almost certainly have been used by agency art departments to make the pop divas look unrealistically perfect.
We take our hat of to Mr Epoxy who would seem to be the artist/vandal/geek responsible. µ

What's the difference?
Any woman, every single day, will brush her hair, go for lipstick, facial cosmetics, and so on, just to looks better than she really is. So, what you see on streets every single day is not the real truth, right?
IF, IF every single woman could use PhotoShop and change her actual physical looks, instead of using cosmetics, believe me, they ALL would do it, and more, they will expend HOURS correcting what it is already good.
"Real Appearance" for woman, doesn't count. Doesn't make sense. Let's talk about plastic surgery??? :)
A lot of people will think
"Oh, they design their beauty products with A COMPUTER!"
instead of
"Smart guy, lol"
Nice of this guy to promote Photoshop. No one cares that they retouch photos of celebrities.
there is a typo you said we take our hats of to him instead of off to him. please delete this comment after the post is edited
Perhaps it wasn't meant to be taken literally, but they don't just get airbrushed. They elongate their necks, slim them out and all sorts of things. I don't mean to brag, but as a digital artist I recognize many of the methods used.
Yes, they get "airbrushed". Gee, deep and original.
For his next insight he's going to reveal that politicians use prepared speeches! It really makes you think....
