Internet keeps Gaza and Sderot in touch

On the blog

WHILE Hamas and Israeli government forces lob rockets and hate at each other in Gaza, a few with a sense of perspective on the whole thing are keeping in touch thanks to the Internet.

AP draws attention to bloggers "Hope Man" in Sderot and "Peace Man" in Gaza who have been blogging for more than a year on a site called Life must go on in Gaza and Sderot.

The pair stay in touch with text messages, emails and the occasional phone call to exchange first-hand updates on what is happening just down the road.

Peace Man has posted twice since December due to the violence all around him and Hope Man has been trying to keep in touch on the phone.

What the blogs show is that neither side with the guns represents the ordinary people. µ
