Neo-Nazi hackers take down history site
NEO-NAZI hackers defaced a web site which collects material about a 1944 Nazi genocide.
The hackers stuck a banner on the site with a skull topped by an insect, probably to indicate the size of their brains, with inscriptions in Gothic characters. They also installed some Nazi music. The hacked site was up for an hour.
The site has had more of a public profile recently with the release of a Spike Lee movie, Miracle at St Anna, about the civilian massacre conducted by Nazi troops in the small Tuscan village of Sant'Anna di Stazzema, on 12 August,, in 1944.
Sant'Anna was zoned by the German occupation forces as a civilian ‘relocation' area and was also a ‘logistics camp' for Italy's anti-fascist partisans, who could attack and relocate behind enemy lines in small units.
The Germans turned the area into a a concentration camp and when that failed to stop the partisan attacks, they decided to wipe out 560 unarmed women, children and old people. The men had long since disappeared to avoid deportation. This was all on the basis that for for every German soldier that was killed, 100 civilians would die.
According to the local Italian media, the attacks were made by the best brains in the neo-nazi movement, which means they were as thick as planks and easily detected. The jack-booted hackers tripped an alarm which automatically managed to blocked the attack and prevented any major damage.
Apparently the neo-nazi movement was caught on the hop by the success of the movie, which won Lee a Golden Globe and decided to try and shut down sites that referenced it. µ

This is false info, The Miracle movie haven't won ANY awards so far, the only nominations it got were for Black Reel festival. It didn't even get nominated for the Gloden Globe!
In fact the Miracle St. Anna movie was not successful, it's currently having 33% rating at the rotten tomatoes website and its 45% making costs were not recovered at the box office.
I wish The Inquirer editorial board investigate the journalist for this article, which is lacking in any info and contains false info, where it has any content at all!
Spike Lee won a Black Reel award for the film but he was not nominated nor did he win a Golden Globe. As for the film itself, the man who wrote the book called it a work of fiction and the Italian people protested its release for being wholly inaccurate.
So you guys are saying that the genocide never happened? Funny that there is a memorial at the site and everything. Also ten former SS officers were tried for their involvement in the genocide. Films and books not being 100 percent right do not mean that the event didn't happen, nor does it make Neo-Nazi hacking of a site to try and cover up their bogus history right. Or are you part of it all?
..Nazis, neo- or otherwise, the gitwizard impugning their intelligence does cause an involuntary "glass houses" response.

nobody is saying it didn't happen, we're just refferring to the fact that the book spike made the movie from claims that the Italians were partly to blame for the massacre and the Italians say it was unprovoked.
Spike lee sucks.. If not for affirmitive action, this jack-ass would be stealing cars for a living.. FACT.
