All men are frauds. The only difference between them is that some admit it. I myself deny it. - H.L. Mencken
CYBER ATTACKS are the greatest threat to the US after nuclear war and weapons of mass destruction, according to FBI experts.
What spooks Shawn Henry, assistant director of the FBI's cyber division, is that you have more chance of stopping weapons of mass destruction - probably because they are are not really there- and nukes but you can't stop cyber attacks.
He didn't mention that whereas a nuclear attack can kill hundreds of thousands, a cyber attack means that instead of ordering that book you fancy from Amazon, you may have to get off your lardy rear and wander down the booshop instead.
He admited that a cyber attack on the US was more likely than a nuke or anthrax scare. A cyber attack was the most critical thing the former colony of Virginia is likely to face on its home territory since the British came back and burnt the White House in the early 1800s. He failed to mention the other scary threat of Britney Spears going commando for the paparazzi.
Michael Balboni, deputy secretary for public safety in New York state, said a virtual 9/11 could do more damage than any terrorists did by flying planes into buildings.
The FBI siad that hackers were more elusive and innovative than the Mafia when it came to being caught.
Donald Codling, the FBI's cyber unit liaison with the Department of Homeland Security said a bloke with a SIM chip can move money all over the world. It's extraordinarily difficult for the spooks to catch them. µ

All America has to fear is a massively paranoid media juggernaut that makes money out of scaring them sh*tless on a regular basis. The sooner people stop caring about this crap the sooner we can all live happy calm lives.
Guess its budget time again at the FBI.
Time to scare the sheep some more. like
the last poster said, maybe get off your
backside and go buy your paperbacks and
dvd's yourself, in person.
unlocking the mystery of the Stargate's ninth chevron - must be our finest Destiny... McKinnon’s discovery has helped unveil not only possible fraud at NASA, but also the pathetic cyber-security in the U.S. also costing billions of dollars. The Obama administration is expected to implement another $15 billion in cyber-security upgrades. Gary McKinnon could save the U.S. billions of dollars by exposing fraud while assisting in cyber-security upgrades.
If McKinnon had been a NASA employee, whistle-blower laws might have protected him.
Coincidentally, the final decision by an UK judge on McKinnon’s fate will occur Jan. 20, 2009, the same day Barack Obama will be inaugurated as president. That could help McKinnon since members of the Obama Cabinet support disclosure of the “X-Files” on UFOs and extraterrestrial visitors. These files have been kept secret for more than 60 years by governments and a complicit media.
Remember Enron? One could easily conclude that NASA has been defrauding The People of the United States for billions of dollars. Maybe McKinnon should be rewarded, not punished. The Whistleblower Protection Act of 2007 needs passage but it has been held up by the Bush administration for obvious reasons. George Bush hates Asperger syndromees. Funny that. With his poor communication skills, he'd be a shoe off.
Have you looked at the average American lately ?
Anything that forces them off their Butts will kill millions!
