Apple's new Macbook Pro out tomorrow

Dark satanic rumour mill turns
Monday, 5 January 2009, 10:32

THE DARK satanic rumour mill is adamant that Apple is set to release a 17-inch Macbook Pro and a new version of the Mac Mini tomorrow.

Appleinsider said that the new Macbook Pro will have a fixed internal battery which will make it as long lasting as a chocolate teapot. It means you will have to junk it or take it to your glorious Apple cult centre when the battery goes tits up.

Both the Pro and the Mini will have some wonderful chip sets from Nvidia which sets the whole package off famously.

The mini will come with chipsets from Nvidia's MCP79 platform, a Mini Displayport and a Mini DVI connector. It might also come with a FireWire 800 port and a fifth USB port.

It is not clear where Jobs' Mob will release the new kit. Macworld would be the logical place, but Apple has decided that it is not showing up. µ

Rummers

A non removable battery on a laptop would be a bad mistake and until I see it I will have to say Nick is doing his I hate Apple medication again. Now a new MiniMac would be a nice thing, what I have been waiting for. I will get mine with the new Nvidia chipset, where is Charlie.

Mac idiotism

Nick is true clinical MAC hater. But you know what? I also became one when I saw MAC bluetooth set for $200 sold here in US (!!!).
OK, listen, I will tell you a story. Ones I was drinking with one my old, damn friend and a MAC lover, and at the peak of alcohol intoxication we as a sign of ultimate friendship exchanged our Omega and Rolex watches. He told me next week how he made me, laughing, that his Rolex was much worse them my Omega. This Omega was really good. He still does not know that I bought my Omega watch in China for ... 2 dollars in black market. Tens of them :-) And I also know this bluetooth costs 2 bucks but is sold for 200 for MAC users. They are happy.

Nick got it right

Bad move Apple. If they do this to all there laptops I guess I have bought my last Apple laptop. It is the same reason I don't own a iPod.
Just picked up one of the last Black Macbooks so hopefully this will give me many years of service. Hopefully this sells real badly and forces Apple hand.
