Surely saying only Jews could execute a fraud of this scale is a kind of complement? Or if scale of bad acts is the issue then I think the Christians got that one in Germany in the 1930's/40's.

I don't get it. What are those people actually saying? I can't even imagine building a case that would lead up to such racist claims without some obvious twist in one of its premises. They should stop giving those people laxatives that cause mental diarrhea.

You know just because Raham Emanual's dad was part of a group labelled terrorist by the UK (and I don't know enough about the group to say I agree or disagree with either the labelling or the action) doesn't relate to himself, I'm certainly not subscribing to all views and battles of my own father, do you take every view your father had, and support every believe he had?

Anti-Semitism is not the correct term to be used when describing racism towards Jews when you realise that roughly 90% of Jews worldwide are Ashkenazi and Ashkenazi Jews are not Semitic.

Let's face it. Antisemitism has nothing to do with language groupings or non-Jewish ethnic groups. Antisemitism was coined by a German racist to make anti-Jewish prejudice sound scientific. All religious and ethnic groups have bigots, and all have decent people. It's human nature. The reason we need to point out specific outpourings of hatred is that people can act on those outpourings and actually hurt others. It's okay to disagree with Israel, but to hate Jews or to tolerate Hamas terrorism against Jews is antisemitic. We should be angry at the Ponzi scheme (Ponzi was Italian) perpetrated by Madoff but it's antisemitic to generalize from that and attack Jews. It's okay to be for Proposition 8 in California, but it's a hate crime to advocate attacking gays.

I'm one Jewish Christian who prays daily that we all learn to live in peace with each other and talk our differences out rather than defaming the name of God and violating Jesus' admonishments to love our neighbor as ourselves. And Ashkenazi Jews are descended from Avraham Avinu, even if Jewish Khazars moved into Eastern Europe once the Russians destroyed their kingdom, which was a mixture of pagan, Christian, Moslem and Jewish anyways.
