WoW your friends with a sex change

From He-Elf to She-Elf in one easy operation
Thu Dec 11 2008, 14:41

HAVE YOU EVER considered having a sex change? If World of Warcraft is your MMO of choice, then you're in luck. Blizzard has released a new service in its character creator that allows you to change your female Night Elf into a male Night Elf. Or male Orc into a female Orc. Whatever floats your boat.

Don't expect to get something for nothing, however. Undercutting the market for gender re-assignment surgery substantially, undergoing the change will nevertheless cost you $15 in real money.

It's not just sex, however. Skin colour, face and hair can now all be altered, allowing you to change your appearance, if you've gotten a little bored of staring at the same butt every day for the last 80 levels.

If only real life was quite as simple. Sirens of Titan springs to mind. Sorry, did I say that out loud? µ

Hmmmm

"...if you've gotten a little bored of staring at the same butt every day for the last 80 levels"

I foresaw this and chose a female night elf who has a cute ass.

Also, the barber shops that have sprung up in the major cities charge a fortune! You get the achievement "Shave and a haircut" for partaking, but I feel that the female characters come off worse in that deal. (And the male players of said female characters...)

Behind The Times For Once?

Never thought I'd say this, but even RuneScape has allowed this for AGES in-game virtually for free via an in-game NPC (Makeover Mage). You can change your gender, skin colour etc. Players can also pay to change their default clothes and their hairstyle. Of course, there are no races per se in RuneScape (only humans) but it's still odd to see WOW catching up to a java based game for once.

Blizzard is getting LAME!

Yes, L-A-M-E! That's what blizzard is doing... why must they charge money for every simple little thing as changing your server, name or gender? My god what kind of a company is this?

I want someone to remake Asheron's Call! <
