Low latency laptop DIMMs launched

MEMORY MAKER KINGSTON has announced the birth of its ultra-low latency HyperX DDR3 gaming SO-DIMMs. The new DDR3 1066MHz notebook memory modules apparently boast high performance, ultra-low latency and are built with a natty new blue aluminium heatspreader.

Aimed at mobile gamers, the 4GB kit consisting of two 2GB sticks is available for $228 in the US only at time of writing, but we expect it to be available soon in the UK for around £140. µ
