NO NAZIS, no flying genitalia, and no copyright material - that's the renewed message coming out of Sony as gamers continue to complain about fan-created levels being trashed from Little Big Planet servers.
The game, which allows gamers to create their own environments to play across with friends, was released to acclaim earlier in November. Since then, however, gamers have complained that their levels have been deleted without explanation or any particular reason, it seems, by the game's bigwigs.
Reports across gaming message boards suggest that levels deleted have included copyright content such as logos or graphics, as well as more churlish content such as nazi themes or crude genitalia.
However, other fans have reported seeing perfectly legitimate content killed off too, with popular levels including 'The Azure Palace' and 'World of Colour' both blacklisted for no apparent reason whatsoever.
In an attempt to address the concern, Sony is promising to be on its best behaviour and to only delete those levels that they really have to - aiming to work with creators to tweak levels in most cases, to avoid succumbing to the pit of death.
"The level moderation process is something we’re continually improving," say Sony bods on the official Playstation bog.
Fans of polygonal penises everywhere will no doubt be delighted.
