APPLE IS WORKING UP to introducing its Iphone 3G in the China market, apparently.

Chunghwa Telecom has announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Apple for the Taiwan market and will begin selling the Iphone 3G in December, Chinese media reported Sunday. The company said it expects Iphone sales to expand to the China mainland market.

In August, Apple expanded its Iphone 3G marketing to 21 additional countries and regions, including Argentina, Estonia, Slovakia and Uruguay. It is thought China will be included in Apple's third wave of Iphone 3G geographical expansion.

Chunghwa Telecom reportely did not sell the first Iphone model in Taiwan because Apple hadn't yet developed an input method for Chinese language characters.

The Cupertino gadget company has also advertised recently seeking Iphone quality control engineers to work in Beijing. µ
