Obama fights to keep his Crackberry addiction

Won't go cold turkey
Thursday, 27 November 2008, 09:55

BARACK OBAMA is trying to hatch a plan that means he can hang on to his beloved Blackberry once he moves into to the Oval Office.

Obama can still use the device, the problem is that all the emails are stored for posterity which means that all his mates will be a laughing stock long after they are dead.

The BlackBerry is also traceable which is a bit of a security risk if a terrorist gets his hands on a cruise missile.

In an interview with Barbara Walters, Obama also said he was trying to keep his Blackberry or find another way to "break through the isolation and the bubble that exists around the president".

Obama is a known Crackberry addict. He said he was working with the Secret Service, lawyers and White House staff to find a way to keep it.

He is worried that, apart from the 10 or 12 people who surround his office in the White House, he can't talk to anyone. Poor lamb. ยต

What's to Hide from? Do You Hide Yourself behind Incriminating Secrets

He's the President. If he wants to use a CrAICberry, who would think to stop him if there is Zero Security Risk.

St. Steve's solution

If Obama is crackberry addict, then St. Steve could perform a miracle with the jeeezuz phone!
The almighty-phone is surely safer, nicer, it will not reveal your position to terrorists (but it does reveal everything else about you...) but it may accidentally send out obscene pictures, so don't mess with your stagists.

Heretix like me, on the other hand, do prefer Xperia X1....

In the world of exploding Human bombs and ravaging wars about nonsense, he's working with the secret service and white house lawyers to ... keep his blackberry?

Crackheads not fit to be president

If Obama can't kick his crackberry addition, he certainly isn't the person to be leading the U.S. Maybe he is more isolated than he realizes if he only has a dozen people he can converse with? He might want to resign now so that he can play with his crackberry. We wouldn't want to inconvenience him with trivial matters like national security, world economics, or other minutia.

It's easy.

All of his crackberry stuff, it's simple text and other easily handle-able data.

Make a central server for his balckberry stuff, it all gets received, checked etc. Then they can store it and he can collect it remotely, using PGP or some other better method.

Give him a safe gadget, make it able to receive stuff forwarded from his blackberry.

Just make his stuff hard to intercept.

I doubt it's any less secure than talking on a wired telephone, or regular mobile phone.

When the President comes to town in Dubai, as George Bush did last year. The hotel he stayed in, plus the surrounding hotels, were emptied of guests and staff during his stay. There were 100's of security people everywhere.

I think letting him use his crackberry will be a walk in the park compared to the other stuff they have to solve.
