IF YOU DON'T know what to do with your Dreamcast, you could always turn it into a beautifully crafted PC.

Dean Takahashi has said that the new Jasper version of the Xbox 360 could do away with the RROD problems that have plagued the console.

Total sales of the Xbox 360 have doubled in the space of a week in Japan, according to data from Media Create, via Edge.

Crunchgear has a useful database of Xbox 360 game install sizes.

PS3/PSP
Imagination Technologies Group is rumoured to be working with Sony on the next version of the Playstation Portable.

The company had issued a press release stating that it was working with "a major international consumer electronics company, which was picked up as to mean Sony, and thus the PSP2.

Eurogamer surprised few, with leaked rumours of a PS3 price-cut in March next year.

Sony was quick to deny the rumours and state that there were "no plans" for the March price-cut. This hasn't stopped speculation, though.

All Playstation 3 games will now require trophies as from 2009.

Wii/DS
The Wii has hit seven million sales in its native territory of Japan.

Nintendo is continuing its attack against homebrew, and has killed it again in the latest Wii update.

you forgot the PC

the best console is the one that got thrown away for a PC, home made and home supported, for the more guru folks that don't live in momas basement and eat cheetos all day.

unless you get a MAC then your hosed.

You missed a bit

You guys missed the update on the trophies requirement. It's only for games submitted for approval after the first of the year. Any game which already has approval, ie any game released or currently in development, still aren't required to support them even if it gets released after the end of the year. That said any dev which has the time to do it before release is now a lot more likely to do it because if they don't it will just make them look lazy.
