THE MAKER OF Flip Video today introduced its latest innovation - the Flip Mino HD which is said to be the world’s smallest ever HD camcorder.
Weighing in at just over 3oz this slim camcorder is certainly small – yet this seems to be its main feature.
The Flip Mino HD is only capable of recording a maximum of 60 minutes of video but will still set you back around £140.
It does have some redeeming features though, such as a resolution of HD 720p and FlipShare software which allows for easy organising, editing and sharing of HD clips with friends online via Youtube, Myspace and AOL video.
This on-board software application also allows consumers to plug the camcorder’s flip-out USB arm into any computer.
Jonathan Kaplan, Pure Digital’s Big Kahuna said, “Consumers have embraced Flip Video because it delivers on the promise of making video simple, affordable, and fun.”
Users can also create custom movies, complete with music and credits as well as being able to capture HD still photos from their videos.
FlipShare is compatible with both Windows software and Apple’s Mac video applications including QuickTime, Imovie, and IDVD. µ

How much do you wanna bet it's got a tiny low res sensor and is compressed to hell?

What no bets?

:-)

Best way to see what the new flip is worth is to see it in action on the web... no need for journalistic opinions on video recording gadgets :)
