Get your ATI RD580 today

If you're Swedish, of course
Wednesday, 22 February 2006, 11:13
IT SEEMS that the media pressure that's been focusing on spinolas from both ATI and Nvidia has started to show positive results. While there isn't a single journo out there who didn't question product launches from respective companies and others, like Chipzilla's paper launch of Extreme Edition 955, in the past there was no reaction from companies in question.

How the world has changed. Thanks to our reader Bo Olsson, we managed to find out that you can actually buy an Asus RD580 based motherboard today, and that 13 boards were in stock in time of writing this story. A8R32-MVP DELUXE features a top bundle, which usually includes bunch of Asus related software and goodies, such as a Wi-Fi adaptor. The board of course, combines an ATI RD580 NorthBridge chip with Nvidia ULI M1575 SouthBridge.

If you're interested in, and have no fears about an import from Sweden, you can have your X1300 or X1600 Crossfire performance boosted in no time. And of course, new lamp is always better than the old one, right?

Hard pre-launch availability then. First the 7800GTX 512MB, then X1900XT. You've just got to love it. µ
