GDhardware reviews the X800GTO Ultimate and the GTO2 graphics card from Sapphire. Both are based on the X800XL with 12 pixel pipelines and a core/mem speed of 400/490. The GTO comes with a massive heat pipe present on both sides of the card. On the other hand, the GTO2 is a BIOS locked X800XL which can be readily unlocked - and is advertised as such. Both cards were easily overclocked and the GTO2 proved to be the modern equivalent of the 9500Pro.
PSU are getting more and more powerful but certainly not more louder. This is what Pureoverclock states when it tests the new PC Power and Cooling Turbo-Cool 850SSI, a PSU capable of delivering 850W of power with peaks of 950w. Now with an efficiency rating of 85%, it is even more quieter than its less powerful siblings. No one can currently touch them and it shows both in the performnace and in the price.
More PSU reviews, this time from AMDZone which unveils the SinTek 600SLI review. A PSU that is destined to be a perfect mate to Nvidia's SLI Graphic cards. It has some knobs, removable cables, an external LCD panel and a true 600w output. While considered as overkilled for an entry level, enthusiasts looking to power their quad GPU, Dual Dual Core Opterons will probably get just enough juice out of this one.
Even more PSU reviews. The Xclio Goodpower 500w could get a price for such an out of the blue name. Features include Auto Range Voltage support, 120mm fan, SATA connector, several kind of protection and EPS support. Nothing peculiar about the model; a good value PSU.
VR-zone tests what I would consider as a geekers wet dream, the Iwill ZMax D2 Dual Opteron SLI SFF. How Iwill managed to put everything together without the help of some elves is still a mystery. While the whole thing is a little bit outdated - thanks to the Nforce 3 250 used, it still managed decent scroes when compared to a P4 540 running at 3.2GHz. The rig was conposed of two Opterons 240 running at a snail pace of 1.4GHz.
