CAMERA PHONES MIGHT be desirable, but have you ever tried sending a friend a pic?

The networks all have their own ideas on how this should work, but one things for sure, mostly it doesn't - work that is.

That's one of the reasons Kingston's wee gadget - on show here for the first time - will succeed.

It's a USB microSD reader. It enables users to take the data chip out of their mobile phone and plug it into a PC. It's probably about the most useful thing we've seen here.

Kingston will ship the adaptor with 1 and 2GB microSD cards. No doubt others will follow suit and you'll be able to buy the adaptors without having to buy the extra flash memory as well.

Pricing details for the USB microSD reader were not available at press time.
