IT'S LIKELY that Taiwanese phone firm HTC is going to get a
tad hot under the collar by Apple releasing an Ipod called Touch.
Because one of its smart phones is also called Touch.
This - as we reported here - uses Touch Flo. We don't know who Flo is.
According to a story on Infoworld, HTC's top man Peter Chou confirmed Touch is a trademark. But he appears to regard this as something of a compliment.
HTC is part of the massive Formosa Plastics group, which also numbers in its stable Via Technologies, its chip wing. µ
