Next Guitar Hero has Aerosmith on board

Bean town rockers have got game
Fri Feb 15 2008, 12:31

ACTIVISION'S NEXT version of Guitar Hero is coming this summer and will focus on ancient rockers Aerosmith.

The choice of the Boston bar band might be a mystery on this side of the pond where we tend to think of them as a poor man’s Rolling Stones or a Van Halen ‘lite’, without the rather good guitar player, Eddie Van Halen, who was honoured in a previous version of the game.

But in MOR-obsessed America, the band is rock royalty and stick-thin singer Steven Tyler has done all the things that rock stars do to keep the strummers in the headlines.

The game, imaginatively entitled Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, will feature songs by the group. All three chords included, natch. µ

Good news for international Aerosmith fans (both of them) they'll be able to pickup Guitar Hero: Aerosmith in the discount bins next to their CDs.

Should be guitar amateurs

Real guitar gods:
1.Django Reinhardt (yes I am old enough to remember)
2.Les Paul
3. Hendrix
4.BB King
Lesser gods:
1. Clapton
2. Townshend
3. Willie
4. Andres Segovia
5. Harrison
6. Holley
The rest are charlatans

They cant be serious

I live in the states and I think this article could not be more right about Areosmith. They arnt THAT great. I really hope this turns out to not be true otherwise I have absolutly no intrest in purchasing the next version of GH. Big mistake... I like GH because of the variety of songs you can play, not just for one artist.

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
