25 mill pixel weathercam calls the shots

No need to adjust sights

SEITZ SAID it has released the Roundshot Weathercam which comes with a weather station and will set you back €10,379.

That price brings you a high resolution webcam which will measure temperature, wind chill, rain, wind velocity and direction and air pressure.

The unit comes with an image archive, direct image zoom, time lapse movie, and a link to the network of Roundshot webcams.

There's an example of the thing here. This shows Lustdorf, a charming little community where nothing much seems to be happening. But in a village called Lust Village, no doubt they're all inside, doing other things.

Which reminds us. How is the bald eagle getting on hatching her eggs on some eyrie goodness knows where? We had it linked to from our pic'o'the'day yesterday here.

It still looks very cold up there, wherever it is. We were somewhat amused to see one of the Google Adsense ads selling bird's nests up on that site yesterday. µ
