Youtube set to topple BBC in web charts

Shock for dear old Auntie Beeb

FIGURES FROM Hitwise for May showed that vidsite Youtube is on the verge of toppling the BBC as a pop spot for people to go.

According to a story in The Times, Youtube will overtake the BBC in just a matter of weeks. Those figures are disputed by other measuring outfit Nielsen Netratings, which, nevertheless, shows that Youtube is gaining fast on Auntie Beeb.

Google Two Shoes and Ebay remain number one and number two in the UK, respectively. ยต
