Skype gets subpoena in Intel-AMD case

Just for Intel chips angers AMD

A REPORT said lawyers for AMD will serve a summons on Skype to discover why Intel users only are able to use a feature in the VoIP software.

According to news.com, AMD served the subpoena earlier this week and claims Intel is giving Skype preferential treatment.

We reported last month on a feature which includes 10 way free VoIP calling limited to dual core Intel chips. µ
