A FREE DATABASE that will store vulnerabilities in open source software and hardware has opened for public use.

The Open Source Vulnerability Database has an online system ready to store and deliver data.

Jake Kouns, chief moderator of the OSVDB project team, said the OSVDB's main goal is to be complete and without bias. "This database will serve as one-stop shopping for all vulnerability needs," he said.

It can be found here. µ
