Twenty-inch widescreen monitors go boom

Sales of the 22 and 19 inch LCD monitors had been doing much better than those for 20-inch widescreen models because PC vendors are bundling 19-inch and 22-inch widescreen monitors with their gear. However all that changed when Dell and Apple started to supply monitors in the rarer format.

AU Optronics , LG.Philips LCD and Chunghwa Picture Tubes are expected to benefit from the push by LCD monitor vendors as they are the three major suppliers of 20-inch widescreen panels. µ
