A UK BASED distributor has a bunch of S3 cards available. We saw these cards back at CES and they can play HD content just fine. The cheapest one S3 Chrome S27, DDR3 128MB/128bit, DX9, HDTV sells for from £28.75 / 43.85 Euro. The second version has 256 MB memory and sells for a few pounds more. S3 Chrome S27, DDR2 256MB/128bit, DX9, HDTV is available from £32.75.

The cards are DirectX 9 compliant and they support HDTV. The distributor claims that they are VISTA Premium Compliant and I would certainly like to see that.

The cards come with two years warranty and support. You can buy them at EQS (UK) eqscomputers.com . µ
