Athlon bug "getting fixed"

THERE'S A REPORT on Slashdot that a bug with the Athlon, which affects Windows 2000 too, is close to fixing.

There are two workarounds for the Linux operating system and the log reckons a permanent fix is on the way soon.

The fix for Windows 2000 is a registry fix.
