Sony warns of Playstation 3 delay

ELECTRONICS FIRM Sony wants to launch the Playstation 3 console at Easter but could slip beyond that date, the firm has warned.

Reuters quotes a Sony rep as saying that specs such as Blu-ray, video, audio and IO could delay Sony's plans.

We reported from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that a number of firms were furiously debugging the hardware.

Sony failed to show a live demo of the box at the show, and we said there a May launch optimistic. µ
