Epox is working hard to finish off the EP-MD580 XR-J ATX board and we are sure that the company will have something to show at Computex.
It will be among the first boards to use ATI's RD580 Northbridge and SB600 Southbridge. ATI won't offer ULI stuff any more, since rival Nvidia bought it. Epox has slipped into the niche.
The board will support AM2 Athlon CPU's, will have four memory slots, supporting dual channel DDR 2 800MHz and Hyper transport 2.0GTs. It will offer SATA II ports, eight-channel audio and Gigabyte LAN.
The board will use Epox bios ghost marchitecture that will make your bios at least a little bit safer than usual. At the current timings, the board should hit the channel by the end of June. µ
