A LASS denied teaching degree on the eve of graduation because of a My Space photo has sued her university.

Millersville University denied Stacy Snyder a teaching degree after some person told officials about her Myspace webpage.

The page had a picture of her at a 2005 Halloween party, showing Snyder wearing a pirate hat while allegedly "drinking" from a plastic 'Mr. Goodbar' cup.

The picture was called drunken pirate.

Apparently, university officials believed that the act was promoting underage drinking, although Snyder, at age 25, was allowed to drink.

She was, instead, given an English degree and told to go off and join the other students who drink.

Ms Snyder, who now works as a nanny, only learnt that she would not get her certificate on the day of her graduation. She has sued for $75,000 in damages.
