USB charged by hot air

Bean there, done that

A NEW gadget, with the unfortunate title of Hymini, offers to charge your USB using wind power.

According to Wired, all you have to do is stick the fan out the window and it will charge the Hymini Li-ion battery which can run 5v to any USB powered device

Apparently 20 minutes of wind speeds of above nine miles per hour will charge an MP3 player for 30 minutes and a mobile for four.

If there is a shortage of wind, the Hymini comes with a solar panel so that you do not have to run down the street.

The gadget is supposed to hit the shops late in Autumn, it is not known how much it will cost.

More here. ยต

Reviewers won't take it seriously. They'll think you're trying to put the wind up them.
