Mon Jun 25 2007, 18:23
SECURITY GROUP Trend Micro has announced an extension on its services deal with The Vole, and now will be running real-time antivirus scanning for Windows Live Hotmail.

The service provided by Trend Micro will scan all email attachments, both sent and received, to check for dodgy or malicious code. The company promises to "ensure a security-enhanced internet experience," by removing viruses, trojans, worms and other similar threats.

Vice President at Trend Micro Punit Minocha seems chuffed about the deal: "We are pleased to renew and extend our relationship, a testament to the quality of our security technology and services," he spieled.
