Last of the conservative line

VERSION 4.9 of FreeBSD i386 has just been released.

A number of bugs have been fixed, and a number of security Achilles' Heels have been plugged.

This, according to the community, may well be the last release in the "conservative" 4.x line.

Which means that there's more to look forward to in the future.
