Signs of spring show at SGI

Jellyfish and engineers
Mon May 07 2007, 10:07
LIKE THE FIRST robin you see, the swarms of dead jellyfish on the beach, or the yellow thing in the sky earlier and earlier every day, there are signs of spring everywhere.

One of the most coveted signs is the famous return of the chief engineers to SGI, a sure sign of cyclical warming.

In this case, it is Mike Woodacre who came back about a month ago, a little early for the birds, but we will let it slide to keep up the metaphor.

Worm breeding season is right out too. He assumes the role of Chief Engineer Server Product Group, whatever that exactly means.

In any case, when the big guns come back to a company that was not doing so well a short time ago, it can only mean good things. Let's hope it is just the start of a fine year. ยต
