POPULAR BEAT poet Foxy Brown has been charged with assault and possession of a weapon.

According to the Beeb, the weapon in question was a Blackberry which Foxy biffed at her victim.

Police claim that the row apparently began when the neighbour popped around for a word about the volume of Foxy's stereo. Foxy whipped out the Blackberry to record the incident in case it got to court. But apparently she got so cross that she flung her evidence gathering tool at the neighbour.

It appears that she was a good shot too, the victim had a cut lip and a lose tooth.

Foxy has a long history of legal problems involving throwing objects. She has been before the beak for throwing glue at a beauty care assistant. In her first move into technology crime, she could mean she ends up in jail for a year for violating her probation over the glue incident. Is it just me or are rappers becoming a bit soft lately?
