Is this where all those AMD X2 5000+ CPUs went?

ALONG TIME AGO, Fujitsu Siemens Computer decided to put some national colours on a computer with its DeutschlandPC project.

Now, the company launched the seventh generation model, dubbed Deutschland PC VII.

The specs have been updated to include an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ CPU, DAAMIT Radeon X1650 GTO video card with HDMI interface, two gigs of system memory, a massive 320GB of storage thanks to the excellent Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 hard drive, plus dual-layer DVD burner and a dual TV tuner card.

You haven't read it wrong - the PC marks the debut of Radeon X1650 GTO, an OEM edition that usually differs from those of retail nomenclature. The difference is installed video memory of cheapest kind and the clocks aren't that high - to accommodate a cheaper cooler.

Softwarewise, you have Microsoft Windows XP Media Centre Edition 2005, Works 8, MAGIX software suite, Nero Express and Norton AntiVirus.

To add a trigger for people who are not sure about shelling out a 999 euros for one nicely packed-configuration, Fujitsu Siemens added DeutscheBahn 25 card (card which entitles you to a 25% discount on all DB lines). µ
