Apple fails to tap female market

Iphone is not for girls
Thu Jun 26 2008, 10:02

THE ONE TRUE APPLE religion has created a world where women can not use its toys, according to a US analyst.

Erica Watson-Currie moans that Apple's Jesus phone does not work if you have manicured nails.

The Iphone responds to electrical charges from fingertips, allowing its touch functionality to work. Fingernails don't cut it.

She said that Apple failed to understand ergonomics and user studies indicating men and women use their fingers and nails differently.

Watson-Curry said that Apple persisted in misogyny and refused to provide a stylus to save her from her Iphone misery. Despite the misogynist tag, sales of the handset among women are up.

Silicon Valley entrepreneur Heidi Roizen said she uses her thumbs, which is the sort of lateral thinking that made her a millionaire. ยต

Add "Lazy" as well

Problem solved for both longclaws *and* big-boned fingers. Took all of 4 seconds to google "iphone stylus". Never underestimate a human's stupidity or venality.

Move along folks, show's over.

a slow day?

Is this a slow day at the inquirer or do they want to indicate a condescension to liberated women?

@ a gal: I would actually celebrate the treatment you received at the apple store. You have now achieved equality. You are treated the same as every pc guy who wanders into the Apple store. Grab a party hat.

Apple - old boys network

Stupid woman, stupid complaint. But from the numbers of women that have complaints about being ignored, treated rudely, etc. etc. when trying to purchase an apple computer or get service at the "genius bar" which should be renamed to the a^^^hole fanboi bar it's a wonder any women purchase any apple products anymore.

signed owner of the last apple product I'll every purchase
