MICROSOFT'S TEMPORAL and spiritual leader Sir William Gates III has called on the Russians to solve the West's shortage of tech skills.

According to Reuters, Gates told the Microsoft Business Forum in Moscow that Russia needed to keep investing in tech skills to supply a shortage in the West.

King Bill said that developed countries were not graduating as many IT students as they were in the past. After the break-up of the Soviet Union, Russia's education system became a cheap talent pool for the West.

Now it has reached the point that Russia loses more than 700,000 of its population to emigration, although a fair bit of that was also to disease and alcoholism. Gates wants them to keep training IT students to their previous standards. He didn't say anything about exporting more alcoholics. ยต
