Pimp my memory

Hardware Roundup Taking overclocking to the edge
Tue Nov 14 2006, 07:41
APPARENTLY THE BEST THING to do when you have two very pretty G80 cards in your possession is to strip them down and modify them with nuts, bolts, liquid nitrogen and pencil lead. VR-Zone has been overclocking the EVGA 8800GTX ACS3 and it's impressive, but I would not recommend trying it at home.

Mad Shrimps has been reviewing the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W Power Supply and it looks like it will manage to run your power hungry quad core, dual graphics card liquid cooled powerhouse.

The days of expensive phone calls are coming to an end as Skype and other internet telephony services become ever more popular. Rbmods has reviewed the VoIP USB Skype Call Forward Box to help make it even easier to call all your friends and family, wherever they are, for next to nothing.

The guys at IT-review have been telling us that they can't sleep, so they've been whiling away the wee hours to bring us a Core 2 Duo MBO Round-up: Part 1. They've also been tinkling on the digital ivories revisiting the Korg OASYS - two years later.

Virtual-Hideout has been taxing its memory to bring us the Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400 Memory Review. It seems that not only is it some of the best memory around, but it's bloody sexy as well.

Cameralabs has brought a review of, well, a camera unsurprisingly. In this particular instance the Canon PowerShot A640. Essentially an enhanced version of its predecessor, the award winning A620, it scores a fairly impressive 86%.

XSreviews has delivered a review of relatively unknown manufacturer Jeantech's flagship PSU the Jeantech Storm 700w. Its modular design and stable performance makes it a good choice if you're in the market for a new PSU. µ

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
