Sapphire intros hybrid PCI Express series

ATI PARTNER Sapphire said it has introduced the Hybrid Radeon X700 series.

What is it? Sapphire said the card has a native 16-lane PCI Express interface and 128-bit dual channel GDDR 3.

It includes eight parallel pixel pipelines and six programmable vertex shader pipelines. And the cards come with either 128MB of memory or 256MB memory.

The graphics X700 chip uses .11µ (micron) technology.

Sapphire didn't say how much the products will cost.
