Sendo Stinger Stung

Gets Insignia's stomp of approval
Monday, 23 September 2002, 13:12
alt='z100' THE LONG AWAITED Sendo Z100 continues to be long-awaited but Insignia said in a press release it's out "soon" in Europe, and later in the US and Asia.

Insignia has licensed its "Foundation" to be used in the phones and that will let them download Java and other stuff when the Z100 comes out.

When the Z100 comes out, Insignia's Foundation will work a treat with it because it's optimised for Microsoft platforms.

Insignia quoted Susan Macke, Sendo's VP of of Smartphones as saying it won't delay the Z100's time to market.

The Z100's time to market has been a little longer than anyone expected.

But it's out very soon now - perhaps as soon as the end of next month. µ
