PDF encryption tool makes it to Windows

Software brik

THE EXCITING WORLD of password protected PDF documents has a newcomer to the lively scene, Briksoftware's new PDFKey Pro 3.6.1 for Windows.

PDFKey Pro has been on the market for Mac OS X for about three years now and apparently has a strong following. Now, Windows users can join in the fun with the new product, which allows users to lock PDF files, remove editing and printing passwords and instantly remove viewing passwords.

Briksoftware says the program ain't for getting around DRM systems and won't decrypt eBooks or other DRM protected wordstuffs.

You can grab the program at pdfkey.com for $19.99, here. Worry not, Vista-sufferers, it's compatible. µ

Adobe already has this

I'm guessing this is for people creating pdf's with programs other than Adobe Acrobat. This is one of the standard features in pdf's and as far as I know there is no easy crack to remove them.

I´m using this a href="http:" / discryptor.net /a encryption tool. It is userfriendly, really fast and with explorer integration.
